A kitchen is four trades in sequence, and the whole schedule is decided by whichever one is waiting on a delivery. So we order cabinets before demolition, not after — which is why our start date is later than the other quote and our finish date is earlier.

You lose a kitchen for about eleven weeks. We set up a temporary one on day one, because eleven weeks of a microwave on the floor is how a good job becomes a bad memory.

Ranges, not quotes — every one of these moves with the fixtures you pick and what is behind the wall. The written quote is fixed before work starts, with allowances stated as numbers rather than hidden in a word.
