We work to a calendar you can see, and we tell you the number in the quarter it happens rather than four months later.

  1. Next

Third estimated payment, and extended business returns

Quarterly filers, S-corps and partnerships on extension

  2. Extended individual returns

    1040 on extension

An extension moves the filing, never the payment. If you owe, the interest started in April.

  3. Third-quarter 941 and RT-6

    Employers

  4. Fourth estimated payment

    Anyone paying quarterly

For the year that just ended. Paying it by the 15th is what stops the underpayment penalty accruing.

  5. W-2s, 1099s, and the fourth-quarter 941 and RT-6

Employers and anyone who paid a contractor

Copies to the recipient and to the IRS on the same day. We file all of it for every payroll client.

Federal dates for an owner-managed business. A date that falls on a weekend or a federal holiday moves to the next working day. Florida has no personal income tax return; the RT-6 and sales tax run to their own calendar and we file those too.

What it costs, before you ask.

Every fee is fixed in writing before any work starts, monthly or annual. We do not bill for phone calls, and we have never sent a client an invoice they had not already seen.

A review of last year’s return We read it and tell you what we would have done differently.
No charge before you decide

Beneficial ownership reporting is over for US companies

FinCEN’s final rule makes permanent what the March 2025 interim rule started: every entity formed in the United States, and its owners, are exempt from filing beneficial ownership information. Only foreign companies registered to do business here still report. If you filed in 2024 and have been waiting for the next one, there is not one.

Standard mileage rate for 2026

If you reimburse yourself for business driving, the rate changed on 1 January. We have applied it to every client already — you do not need to do anything.

  1. A review, free

We read last year’s return and tell you what we would have done differently.

  2. A fixed fee

Monthly or annual, in writing, before any work starts.

  3. A calendar

You get the dates above with your name on them, and we hit them.

The first thing they did was read three years of old returns and find a deduction the previous accountant had missed twice. It paid for the year.

Do you take clients mid-year?

Yes, and it is usually the better time. Coming to us in March means we are meeting your books and your deadline at once.

Do you do audits?

No. We prepare and we advise. If you need an audit we will name three firms that do them properly and none of them pays us anything.

What software do you use?

Yours, if it is QuickBooks, Xero or Wave. We do not require you to move, and we do not resell anybody’s licence.
