Courtyard, Delray Beach
A north-facing courtyard that got two hours of sun. Raised beds, a water feature to cover the road noise, and planting that does not mind shade.

The build
A start date, an end date, and the same crew from the first day to the last.
They told us on the first visit that what we wanted would cost about double what we had in mind, which nobody else had done. Then they drew something we could afford.
The path is the thing I notice. Four years and not one stone has moved.
Same two people every fortnight for three years. They know the garden better than we do now.

A garden design is $1,800.
Build costs are itemised and quoted from the drawing. Most whole-garden builds we do fall between $28,000 and $90,000, and we say so on the first visit rather than at the quote.
